Phong Phu., Ltd. (CPP) is a joint venture between Coats Holdings Ltd. and Phong Phu Textile Company (Vietnam).
It is established on July 25th, 1989. The total capital
investment is US$14.6 million that is contributed 75% and 25% respectively
by the foreign and Vietnamese partners.
Over the years, CPP has been sustaining and growing steadily and speedily. In 2005, CPP has a
total number of 800 permanent employees, from which over 15% has obtained
graduate education, and approximately 37% of executive level (>=C5) have
achieved or are on the progress to achieve postgraduate degree.CPP has 2
factories located in Ho Chi Minh city and Hanoiand1 representative office in Danang. CPP is currently the leading
thread supplier in Vietnam
with nearly half of the total market share and approximately 800 customers.
